Jennifer, a native of Alabama, graduated at 20 from Auburn University
with a B.S in Forensic Psychology, where she was president of
Psi Chi,
the National Honor Society of Psychology and Vice President of Sigma
Tau Alpha, the International English Honor Society. She then attended
Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, where she earned
a Masters in Public Policy at 22, one of the youngest students in
Harvard's history to graduate with such a degree. Her paintings were
featured in shows at Harvard and Jennifer was the subject of a write-up
in "The Citizen". She is currently pursing a PhD in Justice,
Law, and Society from American University, where her doctoral project
is focused on applying the results of neuroscience research to the
examination of culpability in juvenile offenders. Her work in neuroscience
has had a profound affect on her artistic philosophy and her practice
has been greatly informed by her investigations of the limits of
consciousness and memory.
Jennifer lives in New York City with her chihuahua,
Magnolia.
